Sharing and customizing
Turn runs and strength workouts into share cards, decorate them with layouts and stickers, polish fonts, colors, and photos, and save to Photos or as your own templates.
Choosing a share card
Tap Decorate & share right under a run result or workout summary to open the share screen. Pick a Route, Splits, On a photo, or Sticker card from the chips at the top and make it in story or feed size.
- On the result screen after a run, or the summary screen after a strength workout, tap Decorate & share. Past records opened from Record have the same button.
- Pick a card from the chips at the top, then choose Story 9:16 or Feed 4:5 and a background color. Custom, at the front of the chips, opens the editor.
- Turn items such as Show route, Show average heart rate, and Show ascent on or off.
- Tap Share to Instagram Story to open your Instagram story right away. To send it elsewhere or save it to Photos, use Share elsewhere.
The Sticker card has a transparent background, so it goes into your story as a sticker you can move. The route is drawn only from the line with the start and finish areas and your privacy zones cut out, and cards carry no base map, coordinates, or clock time (the date is included). For strength workouts, make cards the same way from Decorate & share on the summary screen, Share workout summary at the top, or Share my stats in Stats.
Opening the editor
Tap Custom at the front of the chips on the share screen to open the full-screen editor. Like an Instagram story, you drag, type, and delete right on the canvas.
- Open the share screen with Decorate & share and tap Custom at the front of the chips.
- Pick Text, Stickers, Layouts, Photo, or Layers from the tools on the right. Text lets you type straight on the canvas.
- Drag stickers with your finger to move them, and use two fingers to resize or rotate them. While you drag, drop a sticker on the bin that appears at the bottom to delete it.
- Tap a selected sticker again to change its color. Tapping a selected text sticker again edits the text.
- When you're done, save to Photos from the bottom row or send it with Share to Instagram Story or Share elsewhere.
When a sticker is selected, a row of colors and the Fonts, Shadow, Delete, and ⋯ buttons appear at the bottom. A sticker dropped on the bin returns to where it was with undo at the top (PRO). With PRO, tapping a selected route again cycles solid, pace, and grade coloring. Choose the canvas Size (Story 9:16, Feed 4:5, or Square) in Layers. The first time you open it, a tip shows once explaining dragging, the bin, and the tools on the right. On the inner screen of a foldable iPhone or an iPad held sideways, the canvas sits on the left and the tool panel on the right.
Ready-made layouts
Tap a ready-made layout in Layouts, in the tools on the right of the editor, and an arrangement filled with this record's values goes in right away. It's free.
- Open the editor and tap Layouts in the tools on the right.
- In the
Ready-made layouts · filled with this record
row, look over the previews filled with this record's values and tap one. - Drag stickers to fine-tune it or add more. You can tap another layout to change just the arrangement.
There are 17 ready-made layouts for runs and 9 for strength. Tapping one changes only the arrangement, and the canvas size, background, and photo stay as they are. Layouts built around a value the record doesn't have are hidden, such as Heart rate & cadence for a run without heart rate. Below them, My templates holds the templates you saved. See My templates and auto-create.
Kinds of stickers
The Stickers panel is split into Record, Text, Words, Decoration, and Photos groups. Each item shows a preview drawn from this record, so you pick it as it will look.
- Record: for runs, Distance · time · pace, Elevation profile, and Route, plus cadence, Start time, Week distance, Month distance, Month calendar, and Run streak. For strength, Today's workout, Personal record, Big three total, Volume up from last time, Sets, Muscles worked, Date, Start time, and more.
- Text: Add text, Speech bubble, and Location pin. After selecting a bubble, use the Tail direction button to turn its tail to one of four directions.
- Words: word chips such as Long run, Negative split, and Leg day. There are 18 for runs and 10 for strength.
- Decoration: 28 shapes. After adding one, pick its color or switch it to Outline.
- Photos: Photo sticker (square, or round with the Circle button) and Photo grid (up to 4).
Stickers with analysis values, such as grade-adjusted pace or Estimated 1RM trend, follow the plan that value belongs to, and the other stickers are free. The app name on cards is always included, whatever your plan.
Saving to Photos
Tap the bottom-left button (Save to Photos) in the editor to save your card to Photos at its current size. It's free.
- When you're done, tap the bottom-left button in the editor.
- The first time you save, the app asks for photo access. On iPhone it asks only for permission to add photos.
- When you see
Saved to Photos
, you're done.
On Android, cards are saved to the FitBoost album. If you didn't allow access, you'll see Couldn't save. Check photo access in Settings.
Turn on photo access in your device settings. To send the card to another app, use Share elsewhere in the same row.
Fonts, colors, and photos
Even within one sticker, pick a font and color separately for Number, Unit, and Label. Photos can be adjusted from grayscale and blur to brightness and contrast. With a sticker selected, change them right away from Fonts and the color dots in the row at the bottom.
- Fonts: a font per part, Size, Spacing, and Fixed-width numbers. If a font lacks some characters, the app tells you
Characters this font lacks use the default font
. - Colors: three basic colors, colors picked from your photo, Eyedropper, and Color code. It shows the contrast so you know the text is readable, and suggests Add shadow.
- Photo: Black and white, Blur, Brightness, Contrast, Warmth, and Darken bottom.
- Route: Solid, or color the line by Pace or Grade.
- Layers: Undo and Redo, Bring forward and Send backward (free), Hide, Lock, position and rotation values, and Show story safe zones.
There are 22 fonts, all included in the app under the SIL Open Font License (OFL). Free use gets the three basic fonts for the whole sticker, the three basic colors, grayscale and blur, and a single-color route. A font per part and the other 19 fonts, photo colors, the eyedropper and color codes, undo, hiding and locking layers, values and the safe area, route coloring, and brightness, contrast, warmth, and bottom shade are PRO.
Putting stickers behind people PRO
Turn on Place behind person in Photo, and the person in your photo is cut out so stickers go behind them. Photos are processed only on your device.
- Pick a photo as the background in the On a photo card or in the editor.
- In Photo, turn on Place behind person.
The person is cut out on this device only, so stickers sit behind them
. iPhone uses the Vision feature built into the device, and Android uses a person segmentation model included in the app, so your photo isn't sent anywhere. If the person is small or blurry, you'll see No person found in the photo
.
My templates and auto-create
Save your layout, fonts, and colors with Save this layout as a template, and they fill in with your next workout's values (PRO).
- When your layout is done in the editor, tap Save this layout as a template under My templates at the bottom of the Layouts panel.
- Next time you share, pick that template in My templates and the new values go in.
- Turn on the Auto-made when you finish switch on a template, and after a workout or run it opens straight from Share with my template on the result screen (PRO+).
Templates are stored only on this device and in backup files, and aren't uploaded by sync across devices. If your subscription ends, saved templates aren't deleted; only the PRO features lock again.
Free and paid in sharing
Share cards and the editor's layouts, stickers, selecting several, and saving to Photos are free. The pro editing tools are PRO, and auto-creating cards from your template when you finish is PRO+.

- PRO+: share cards made from your template right when a workout or run ends.
Stickers with analysis values follow the plan that value belongs to. The app name on cards is included on every plan, and there's no option to remove it.
