Build routines, get a program made for you, and use the exercise list.
Creating a routine
Tap Add in the My routines section of Home.
- Tap Add in the My routines section of Home.
- Choose Create an empty routine or Import from a past record.
- Add exercises and sets, then save.
Free lets you make up to 3 routines; PRO has no limit. You can also save changes back to a routine when you finish a workout.
Editing, duplicating, and deleting routines
On the routines screen, tap ⋯ on a routine for Edit routine, Duplicate routine, and Delete routine.
Open the routines screen from ⋯ → Choose a routine on today's card in Home. It has three tabs: My routines, Popular & public, and Scheduled workouts. Pick from FitBoost picks in Popular & public.
Deleting a routine also deletes the schedules and reminders you made with it.
Auto progression PRO
Turn on Auto progression when editing a routine. Exercises where you hit your target reps on every set last time get a heavier weight next time.
For set-by-set weight suggestions during a workout, see in-workout coaching.
Building a program for you
Pick your goal, schedule, and equipment, and the app builds a week of training and saves it as routines.
- Tap Home → Programs → Build a program for me.
- Choose your goal, experience, days per week, session length, and equipment (gym, home dumbbells, or bodyweight).
- Set cardio, up to two muscles to prioritize, and any to rest, then tap Build.
- Review the preview and save it as routines.
Weights aren't filled in ahead of time; they're set from your records on the day. Free saves within the 3-routine limit, and Show another mix and Refresh exercises are PRO.
Following a ready-made program
Pick a program at the bottom of Home → Programs and tap Start program to put it on your home schedule.
The top of the same screen has entries for Build a program for me, Coach circuit, and Weekly hybrid plan.
Custom exercises
Create exercises that aren't in the list with Exercise list → Add custom exercise.
Set how it's logged (weight and reps, time, and so on), the main muscles, and whether it's done one side at a time. Free allows 5; PRO has no limit.

Search 1,690 exercises in Menu → Exercise list, and open one to see how to do it and what to watch out for.
Each exercise has Instructions, precautions, tips, your records and stats, and Alternatives. Tap Log this exercise to start logging right away. Search by name or filter by muscle and equipment, and keep the ones you do often in favorites.
