TripFit Terms of Service

Effective date: August 16, 2026

These Terms govern your use of TripFit (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Service and License

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App.

2. Your Content

You are responsible for photos, notes, trip information, and shared data you enter or upload, and you must have the right to store and share them. You must not submit unlawful content, infringe another person’s rights, or interfere with the service.

3. Shared Trips and Invitations

• Shared Trips is a private, invitation-based feature that requires Sign in with Apple.
• Room members can view that room’s schedule, availability, packing, and shared look information.
• Share invitation links only with people you trust and consider that recipients may forward them.
• Room owners are responsible for managing members and shared data.

4. Sync and Third-Party Services

The App may rely on Apple iCloud/CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, the App Store, and Google Firebase. Network conditions, account status, storage limits, outages, or third-party policy changes may limit some features.

5. App Store Payments and Optional Tips

The App may offer optional consumable tips through Apple’s in-app purchase system.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Tips are optional, do not unlock App features, and are not subscriptions.
• Consumable tips may be purchased again and cannot be restored after purchase.
• The App displays the localized price provided by Apple before confirmation.
• Billing and refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable local law.

The App’s regular features remain available regardless of whether you send a tip.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the App unlawfully; reverse engineer or improperly access the App or service; bypass security; send abusive automated traffic; impersonate others; misuse invitations; or violate another user’s rights.

7. Changes and Availability

Features, prices, and availability may change for reasonable operational reasons. Material changes affecting paid products will be communicated as required by applicable law and App Store policies.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for indirect or incidental loss or data loss caused by third-party outages, user settings or actions, lost devices, or events beyond our reasonable control. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.

9. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using the App and delete your collaboration account at any time. Save any data you need before deletion. Deleting an account or the App does not restore or refund a completed consumable tip; refund requests are handled by Apple.

10. Changes and Contact

When these Terms change, we will update the effective date on this page. Contact us through TripFit English Support or GitHub Issues.
